Hi there,

Do you know how you can take long exposures without a filter?

This step-by-step list from Joshua Cripps gets the job done:

  1. Set your camera on a tripod.
  2. Set the shooting mode to continuous high (CH on Nikon).
  3. Use a remote release / cable release.
  4. In your camera’s menu, enable multiple exposure mode. Nikon users should set their cameras to Auto Gain on. Canon users should set their cameras to Multiple Exposure and then set the multi-exposure control to average.
  5. After dialing in these settings, fire away as many exposures as you want.

Check out more on the topic in this article, which also includes a video tutorial.
